Easy Installation - installs in minutes with basic tools. Entire rail section is removable in seconds, in case of emergency. Rail assembly can fit Bertec, Invacare and Hill-Rom style hospital beds, as well as home style beds (box spring & mattress with angle iron frame).
Patient Comfort - bed attachment structure does not protrude into the underside of the mattress, causing pressure points for the patient through the mattress.
Brackets available for:
-For single to king home style beds (box spring and mattress beds with metal angle iron frame). NOTE: For queen and king sized beds, a middle strut is required on the metal bed frame for the bracket to be properly secured. If your home-style bed does not have a middle strut, you must let us know when placing order.
NOTE: Prior to installing the ModRail+ System, we strongly recommend that you first read through the instructions. It is your responsibility to see that your ModRail+ System is properly assembled, installed, operated, and cared for. Failure to follow these instructions could result in injury or death. Modular rail assembly options (ModRail+ System, ModBar+, ModPole+, & ModRail+ Add-On-Kits & Accessories) are designed to fit ONLY on HealthCraft's ModRail+ System. NOTE: The support bracket is bolted securely to the stationary section on the metal frame of the bed. The modular options are secured into the bed receptacle system with a threaded knob. Inspect the ModRail+ System regularly, including bolts, set screws, knurled knobs, and add-ons. Maximum suggested user weight is 250 lbs / 113kg. Lock / remove casters on mobile beds prior to using rail.
